Dear Friends & Visitors,
Desert Classic is not just an event we run every year. It’s our dream of a competition where we would have liked to dance or watch others dance — it’s our big party with friends coming to visit us from all over the world! Words can’t even express how much we enjoy every part of it!
The Desert Classic is a proud participant in the DanceSport Series where Pro/Am dancers vie for points and regional/national recognition. Offering over $90,000 in professional prize money, Top Teacher awards, Pro/Am and Amateur Scholarships, and prize vouchers, the Desert Classic is a dancing extravaganza to remember forever.
Our heartfelt appreciation goes out to all competitors, spectators and supporters who travel from near and far destinations. Each of you helps to make our competition a spectacular success year after year. We know you have many choices for competition. It would be our honor to have you participate in the Desert Classic DanceSport Championships.

Desert Classic DanceSport Championships
Igor and Irina Suvorov are former Russian Modern, Latin & 10-Dance Champions, British Open (Blackpool) Rising Star Champions, Asian-Pacific Champions and US Representatives to the World Championships. Currently, they are coaches, judges & organizers of the Desert Classic DanceSport Championships. Originally from Russia, they came to the USA in 1990 and live in Huntington Beach, California. Igor loves to play golf, Irina to travel, read and spend time with their dog Ozzy.
